What are the types of mobile phone chargers
Aug 09, 2024| Chargers are categorized by how they are used
1. Travel charger: This type of charger is small in size, easy to carry, and can charge removable batteries. However, with the popularity of non-removable batteries, such chargers are gradually decreasing.
2. Socket charger: unique appearance, novel and beautiful, easy to carry, and built-in intelligent identification circuit, which can automatically convert the output polarity of the charger to apply to the positive and negative poles of the battery, and the charging effect is the best.
3. Multi-port socket charger: This type of charger has multiple USB charging ports, which can charge a variety of digital products such as mobile phones and tablets, which is very suitable for household use. However, these chargers tend to be bulky and charge slower.
4. On-board charger: a charger with the general power supply on the vehicle as the power supply device.
Charger fast charging type
At present, there are three main types of fast charging technologies: Quick Charge, Pump Express and USB PD. Most of the other fast charging protocols are derived from the above three fast charging technologies.
1. Quick Charge fast charging technology: The fast charging technology is developed by Qualcomm in United States, and the third-generation QC 3.0 has also been officially commercialized. The fast charging technology mainly improves the charging efficiency by increasing the voltage, and the technology is relatively mature.
2. Pump Express fast charging technology: This fast charging technology is led by MediaTek, which determines the initial voltage required for charging through intelligent analysis of current, and the charger adjusts the output voltage according to this instruction, so as to achieve the purpose of fast charging the mobile phone.
3. USB PD fast charging technology: The fast charging standard is divided into five specifications: 10W, 18W, 36W, 60W and 100W, with voltages of 5V, 12V and 20V, and currents of 1.5A, 2A, 3A and 5A.
